Technical Assistance
Technical assistance is available to organisations requiring support for:
- Strategic planning: development of sectoral guidelines, strategic planning processes and business planning.
- Review of projects: technical and procedural review prior to submission of projects to potential, to enhance compliance with funding criteria.
- Institutional strengthening: development of policies and procedures to increase organisational effectiveness, efficiency and accountability.
- Evaluations: According to DAC (Development Assistance Committee), an evaluation is an assessment, as systematic and objective as possible, of an on-going or completed project. An evaluation should provide credible and useful information, enabling the integration of lessons learned in the decision making mechanisms of recipients and donors. The classic evaluation criteria are:

- Impact
- and Viability / Sustainability
- Other additional criteria which may be included are Coherence, Coordination, Coverage, Visibility, Transparency, Humanitarian Space and Protection.
